Welcome to the Scottish Stockbrokers’ Benevolent Fund, a Scottish Charity, regulated by the Office for Scottish Charity Regulation (OSCR).

At the moment we are not seeking new donations, as our income is well-matched with our commitments. If we hear about other individuals or families we can help, then we may seek new donations from those active in the profession.

All our trustees volunteer their services to the Fund, and we are proud that over 80% of our regular investment income goes to make a difference in our beneficiaries’ lives.

History

The Scottish Stockbrokers’ Benevolent Fund’s history dates back many, many years. It is the successor of Benevolent Funds around Scotland, from the days when there were five separate exchanges: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen (formed in the 1840s) and Dundee (1879) and the Greenock Exchange (1888).
